There are many nice hotels in Kuala Lumpur, the cpital city of Malaysia. We
will showcase a few here.
Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
The Shangri-La
Hotel in Kuala Lumpur (KL) is designed just like any other Shangri-la
hotels with lush greenery and water themes in wide open spaces. The hotel is
well located in the heart of the capital of Malaysia
and is about 45 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur International
Airport and very near the city's business center and shopping malls. In
fact, all guest need to do is just cross the street and will be greeted by
restaurants, entertainment outlets and hawker fares especially when night fall.
Hmmmm…..and talking about food, the hotel offers an outstanding choice
of international cuisines from its award-winning restaurants such as
Restaurant Lafite, which serves the finest Western cuisine. The hotel also
offers 16 comfortable serviced apartments for guests wishing to stay a tad
longer. I have personally stayed in this hotel and find its location very
convenient to get around the city.
Renaissance KL Hotel
The Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel is located at the corner of Jalan Sultan
Ismail and Jalan Ampang. Jalan Sultan Ismail is a shopping district and is
home to popular shopping malls such as Lot 10 and Sungei Wang Plaza whereas
Jalan Ampang is better known for its food outets. This location in the heart
of the the city's so called Golden Triangle which is short stroll from the
Petronas Twin Towers, shopping and nightlife entertainment district.
The Renaissance Hotel is a 5-star establishment comprising of
two wings with a cutting edge convention centre. The hotel's spacious rooms
are equipped with high-speed internet connection, a personal safe and a
mini-bar.
The hotel also housed some award
winning restaurants restaurants such as Med@Marche for healthy Mediterranean
fare, Sagano for Japanese cusine and the Dynasty for Chinese dining.
There is an Olympic-size swimming pool surrounded by lush
tropical palm trees next to a fitness centre for fitness buffs.

For conferences, conventions and major functions, hotel
has one of the largest open space without pillars ballrooms room in Malaysia
plus 24 other function rooms.
Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur
This is another hotel I use regularly when I am in KL, largely because the
hotel is the home of the Hard Rock Café, Kuala Lumpur. It is about an hour's
drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the hotel is located
in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, amidst the bustling business district
and major tourist attractions.
The Concorde Hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the Putra World Trade
Centre and is within walking distance from the Malaysia Tourism Center or MTC,
Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Convention
Centre, The Shangri-la Hotel and Kuala Lumpur Tower.
The hotel offers a wide range of hotel facilities as can be expected
from a hotel of this class such as the usual business centre for business
travelers, gym and pool. Premier Privilege Guests staying in the Premier or
Premier Executive Wing can enjoy complimentary limousine transfer to or from
Kuala Lumpur International Airport, private check in and out at Premier
Lounge, complimentary breakfast for two, free WiFi services, complimetary

Kuala Lumpur Airport Hotel
The Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport is an award-winning 5 star
international hotel. As the name suggested, the hotel is conveniently located
adjacent to the KL International Airport's Main Terminal Building.
The airport hotel is linked to KL International Airport by a futuristic
bridge. For hotel guest's convenience, Pan Pacific KLIA has a complimentary 24
hour buggy shuttle service between the airport and the hotel.
Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport Hotel is the preferred
hotel for transit air travelers with a few hours to relax while waiting for
their next flight. Air travelers with early morning departures or late night
arrivals will also find the hotel very convemient.
The hotel is build with a lush tropical landscape and relaxing water
features in mind creating a soothing environment for the fatique tired air
traveller. Tired transit air passengers can check in directly from the airport
at the airport's International Arrival Hall baggage claim area. The hotel's
airport staff will check in guests while they are waiting for luggages,
however, this facility is not available to domestic arrivals.
