Thai language which literally means Land of the Free. The capital city of Thailand
is Bangkok or Krung
Thep as it is locally called when translated is the City of Angels.
Thailand is located in the heart of Southeast
Asia. With this strategic positioning, it is a natural gateway to the
Asean countries as well as Southern China. Thailand
geographical landscape is divided into four natural regions, the
mountainous forested northern region, the vast rice fields
of the country’s central plains, the semi-arid farm lands of the northeastern
region and the beautiful tropical islands and long coastline of the southern
peninsular.
